Location: Elementary schools within Norman Public SchoolsSchedule: *** Monday-Friday *** No weekends!!!***AM shift 6:15 am - start of school/breakfast and/or PM shift 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (AM shift optional) Benefits:Full-time/Part-time benefits, including health and paid time off, are available.Employee referral program.Deep discounts on program tuition for dependents.Here is what you will need: High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferredCPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferredAbility to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds) You can meet the requirements for a Master Teacher/ CDA Certification in one of the following ways:CDA CertificationCCP Credential12 credit hours in ECE/CD/SA through CECPDOklahoma Certificate of Mastery 1050 hours of training and take the Master Teachers test (Must show proof of certificate)In this role, you will:Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentationOversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectationsBuild a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standardsMake child safety the top priority at all timesMaintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspectionsTrack and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirementsSupervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are metRepresent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community eventsBuild strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student successThis role is ideal for students studying:EducationChild DevelopmentPsychologySocial WorkRecreation or Youth DevelopmentWhy Join Us?At AlphaBEST, we believe in boosting your potential.
