CNC MACHINIST

Monday - Friday 

6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture precision metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and make machine adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts.
• Deburr, clean, and inspect finished components.
• Replace worn cutting tools as needed.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Technical certificate in machining or a related field preferred, or at least 12 months of CNC machining experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, procedure manuals, and safety guidelines.
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and shop trigonometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and make real-time decisions in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• Ability to write basic production and quality reports.
