Bookkeeper - Part-Time WSR is recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper on behalf of a friendly and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Olney. Location: Olney Salary: £15,600 - £16,600 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase Working pattern: Flexible, including school hours Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a flexible role within a welcoming and supportive accountancy practice? The Role As a Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include: Recording financial transactions accurately Coding receipts and purchase invoices through Dext Completing bank reconciliations Checking balance sheet control accounts Preparing and submitting VAT returns Contacting clients to obtain the information required Communicating confidently with clients through meetings, telephone calls and messages Providing proactive support to help clients understand and improve their financial records Managing your workload effectively and meeting agreed deadlines Participating in regular MS Teams check-ins and weekly team meetings About You The successful candidate will: Hold a minimum of AAT Level 3 Have at least three years experience within a UK accountancy practice or as a self-employed Bookkeeper Be confident using Xero, with Dext experience also desirable Be able to manage their own workload and work independently Have excellent organisation and attention to detail Communicate confidently and professionally with clients Enjoy developing strong and lasting client relationships Be able to work from the companys office in Olney Benefits Salary of £15,600 - £16,600 per annum, depending on experience Flexible working pattern of 20 hours per week Potential for hours to increase School hours available Flexibility around the working day and location 28 days holiday, including the Christmas closure Private medical insurance Company pension scheme Regular appraisals and ongoing feedback Air-conditioned office Free onsite parking Complimentary tea, coffee and cold drinks Supportive and approachable team environment If you are an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a flexible position where your contribution will be valued, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
