Position Summary

As a Server at The Little Room, you will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for our customers. You will be responsible for selling and serving food and drinks in a professional and efficient manner, while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Follow safe food service protocols in accordance with Health Department standards
• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
• Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Keep accurate records in the POS system and process transactions
• Monitor and supervise the Busser as needed
• Clear and clean tables when the Busser is unavailable
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Minimum Qualifications

• CA ABC Responsible Beverage Server certification required
• CA Food Handler certification required
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Basic mathematical skills; ability to make change
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong English language skills preferred, bilingual a plus
• Multi-task oriented
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items
