OB Registered Nurse (RN)
An opportunity is available for an experienced OB Registered Nurse to work scheduled shifts in the delivery room. This is a daytime position requiring 36 hours per week for a duration of 8 weeks.
Shift Details:
- Shift: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Holiday Schedule: Required coverage during holiday periods
Certifications Required:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal conditions.
- Assisting with deliveries and immediate post-delivery care.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Handling low census situations by floating to MedSurg when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in a delivery room setting is mandatory.
- Previous MedSurg experience is required, as nurses may occasionally take patients from this unit.
- Familiarity with the Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is preferred.
Additional Information:
Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this position. The selected candidate will be part of a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality obstetric care.
