Registered Nurse RN – Cardiac Stepdown Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, Texas 76022 Work hours: Full Time (36 hours/week), Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:00am Prerequisites & Qualifications Nursing Diploma – required OR Associate's Degree Nursing – required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing – preferred 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program – required Previous Cardiac experience – preferred RN (Registered Nurse) upon hire – required BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support – required prior to providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support – required within 90 days NIHSS – National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification – required within 30 days CPI – Crisis Prevention Training – required within 90 days and maintained annually Responsibilities Respond to other’s priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological, and social needs.
