Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a Med Surg unit requiring a CO or compact license and Epic charting experience.

Job Details

• Med Surg 2 telemetry unit in a hospital setting,
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week),
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications,
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift,
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required,
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, with ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit,
• Certifications must not expire prior to start date,
• ASN required, BSN preferred,
• Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry specialty required,
• Epic charting experience required,
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards,
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling,
• Execute delegated medical functions, refer patients as needed, and monitor therapy and treatment plans,
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines,
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and adhere to service behavior standards,
• Background check and drug screening results required prior to start, with an expectation to report for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment,
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligible for a travel assignment
