Sr. Linux AdministratorEncore Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Linux Administrator experienced in Red Hat Linux administration. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Linux systems, with strong expertise in managing enterprise-level Linux systems, including Red Hat Satellite and strong scripting skills.Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOSManage Red Hat Satellite infrastructure for managing software updates and patchesMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical supportAutomate tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PerlImplement and manage virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVMConfigure and manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, and SambaCollaborate with other IT teams to integrate Linux systems with other systems and applicationsEnsure system security and compliance with company policies and industry standards, including implementing security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and access control systemsDevelop and maintain system documentation and standard operating proceduresManage software licensing and compliance for Linux-based softwareRequirements:5-7 years of experience in Linux system administrationStrong experience in Red Hat Linux administration and Red Hat Satellite managementKnowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PerlStrong understanding of Linux security and compliance standardsStrong understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVMExperience with network services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, and SambaExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills
