SAS Administrator

About the ROLEEach day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as aSAS AdministratorinIT, you will :Bear responsibility for the overall availability and health of the SAS environment through user training, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting system-related issues.Maintain custom SAS processes as needed or directed (SAS re-rater, reporting, automation, etc.)Administer the SAS platform by controlling security, accessibility , connections to data sources to align with company compliances.Learn and maintain best practices for deployment, implementation, and administration of various SAS products.Apply SAS security “Hot Fixes” as required to align with IT procedures.Work with cross - functional teams to create, implement, and deploy business solutions as needed.Proactively communicate directly with business representatives to extract requirements and review work in progress.Abide by all company or department policies .Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager .Attend and participate in department meetings .About YOUAbility to work in a fast-paced automated production environment.Good oral and written communications skills .Well-developed critical thinking skills.Ability to w ork as a team player throughout the company.Ability to maintain an acceptable level of integrity and professionalism.Required4 -year degree in a related technical/ data analytics field .At least 4 years of SAS experience (analytics)Strong knowledge of SQL and data structuresPreferredExperience in the insurance industry, particularly non-standard auto8 or more years of SAS experience (analytics + administration)Experience with PowerBIExperience with ArcGISPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.May be required to work on-call or long hours in case of system malfunction. #J-18808-Ljbffr AssuranceAmerica
