Cineopera is opening in Arts District by downtown and we’re looking for Dishwashers to join our opening team! Cineopera is an upscale casual rooftop marketplace featuring a full bar, counter-service kitchen, movie screen, and retail shop — all designed to create a vibrant, welcoming space where the community can gather, unwind, and connect.
Open Friday - Sunday availability required, full availability preferred. All Dishwashers will start as part-time with opportunity for full-time based on availability, performance, and business needs.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in a high-volume environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station throughout shifts.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all dishes and kitchen tools are properly sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Assist with trash removal, recycling, and breakdown of boxes and waste materials.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and dish area floors regularly to maintain a clean workspace.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as needed.
- Restock clean dishes, cookware, and utensils to designated kitchen and service areas.
- Help maintain overall cleanliness of back-of-house areas, including storage spaces and walk-ins.
- Follow all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and management teams to support smooth service operations.
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties as assigned.
- Maintain a positive attitude and team-oriented approach during busy service periods.
Qualifications:
- Valid Food Handler’s certificate preferred.
- Experience in upscale casual and high volume restaurants preferred.
- Be comfortable with repetitive motions such as walking, bending and standing during your scheduled shift.
- Be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
Compensation:
- $18-$19 hourly wage depending on experience.
- This position is included in the full-house tip pool.
