In this role, you will work within the Analytical Characterization Group to execute routine, investigative, and in-depth analytical assays, supporting biologics development from discovery through commercialization.

responsibilities:

• Perform LC-MS experiments on intact proteins, sequence verification, and post-translational modification profiling.
• Execute separation assays and variant fractionation using HPLC, UPLC, and AKTA systems.
• Support process development through biophysical characterization (DSC) and raw material analysis using vibrational spectroscopy.
• Design and execute experiments for method development, validation, and complex technical investigations.
• Draft protocols, method development reports, and maintain precise electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous process innovation.

 
qualifications:

Required:

• BS with 5+ years or MS with 2+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Hands-on expertise with protein mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and liquid chromatography (HPLC/UPLC/AKTA).
• Fundamental understanding of protein structure, post-translational modifications, and analytical characterization methods.
• Excellent written/oral communication, organization, and multitasking capabilities.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of bioinformatics tools for LC-MS data processing.
• Experience with vibrational spectroscopy (IR, NIR, Raman) and multivariate analysis.
