Occupational Therapist (OT)

HOME HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado Status: Part Time We provide individualized therapy in patients' homes, helping them regain independence and perform daily activities. Benefits Rate: $80-$125 per visit Competitive weekly pay with travel time and mileage reimbursement Holiday and PTO pay for full‑time employees Supportive, caring management Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits for everyone 1:1 patient ratio and flexible assignments Continuing education benefits and discounted courses through Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen University Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury Collaborate with home‑health team (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT, SLP) focused on patient plan of care Assess patients, observe deficits, establish goals, and document progress Assist patients with exercises to improve fine‑motor skills and coordination Recommend adaptive equipment such as grab bars and shower chairs Assess fall risks and implement home safety strategies Educate patients and families on plan of care, exercises, goals, and self‑care Supervise and guide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program Active OT license in Colorado Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience in home health care CPR certification (demonstration course required) Passed background check and drug test (THC testing required) Knowledge of state and federal home‑health regulations Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, resourceful and compassionate Equal Opportunity Employer Interim HealthCare is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
