Nights RN - Adult Surgical Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour shifts (Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with every other weekend and holiday required.
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a primarily Adult Surgical Unit, which also accommodates a few pediatric patient beds. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care through the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. This role may also require travel RNs to float to other units as needed.
Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with nursing standards and state laws.
Document care according to established standards.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Engage in performance improvement activities within the department or unit.
Provide clinical expertise and support across various departments when necessary.
Think critically to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues through appropriate channels.
Current Wisconsin RN License.
Current NIHSS certification.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Education verification required.
