The Manager will focus on building industry-leading eventprogramming that aligns with the goals of clients and other stakeholders. In this role youwill lead a team of meeting and event specialists, ensuring planning, space preparation,service delivery, and post-event wrap-up activities are delivered with care and quality.Additionally, the Meetings & Events Sr. Manager oversees the amenities team andensures daily operations are maintained, ensuring a positive experience and high levelof service for our clients. This individual works with the amenities team to guaranteeworld-class experiences for Host clients and other important stakeholders.This Meetings & Events Sr. Manager is responsible for management of the teamdelivering events for our client across multiple locations in the East and Latin AmericaRegion and rolls up the America’s Events & Amenities Director.In addition to making recommendations on budgets and cost management, thisindividual also will coordinate with clients to resolve complex issues and provide aconsistently positive experience through regular engagement and improvement of eventand amenity processes. The Meetings & Events Sr. Manager will work with teams totrack benchmarks and ensure superior performance from the entire events andamenities staff.This role is based in one of our client’s offices in Bellevue and will require travelbetween multiple offices.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage a team in one or more offices. Provide direction on employee management(e.g. recruitment of talent, performance management, employee engagement,employee development, etc.). Make recommendations on budgets and costreductions.Establish work schedules, assigns tasks, cross-trains staff, evaluates performance, anddevelops team's skills.Troubleshoot and resolves complex client inquires and complaints that are escalated.Follow-up with clients timely to ensure satisfaction.Ensure consistency in support provided by the team through continuous review andimprovement of existing processes. Interprets and communicates goals and directionwith management. Sets achievable goals that are linked to the objectives of theorganization.Accountable for KPIs; reports out on a recurring basis.Track and review Event program metrics, highlighting trends and determining areas forimprovement.Ensure team responds to event requests through the Internal Events Tool within therequired SLA in compliance with department standards.Support Experience Services team to ensure event operations are compliant with safetyand facility/property requirements. Ensures smooth event operations; troubleshoot asneeded.Serve as primary contact with client for meetings & events forecasts and strategies.Motivate and coach staff towards attaining performance goals, maintaining highproductivity, and improving customer satisfaction.Review staff workload and makes proactive decisions to meet the department businessdemands.Ensure smooth operations by implementing procedures to drive employee efficiency;tracks related performance data and solutions for identified gaps.Monitor the performance, training, and development of staff. Conducts performanceevaluations and counseling.Responsible for recruiting and hiring new employees and/orvendors.Perform other duties as assigned.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. The minimum salary for the position is $115,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $130,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
