Job Schedule: 1st Shift - 5/8 or 9/80 (Monday-Friday)
Job Description:
Support Quality initiatives including improvements; incident investigations; RC/CA determinations.
Support/initiate containment activities for FF quality spills into Finished Goods and Shipping including purges, sorting and rework.
Support part removal or part swapping in completed (packed) orders awaiting shipment.
Investigate material shortages, mixed stock and/or wrong parts issued from the Stockroom.
Support Customer FAT activities real-time for Programs including investigating, repairing and/or replacing defective material as required; working with FF QEs to have FAT material re-tested as necessary; providing BOM reviews and serialization assigned; reviewing rev history of assigned components; etc.
Support customer escape reduction initiatives.
Create inspection plans and notes; update existing procedures.
Support teamwork and collaboration efforts within the Quality Team.
Manage work priorities based on work queue and incidental work requests.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced production environment.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Self-starter; Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Principles.Familiarity with Agile and Oracle.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $19.95 - $36.78. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
