Job Title: Telemetry Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:45 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: RN State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Stroke Certification Must-Have: - Current RN state license - Telemetry nursing experience Description: We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Nurse to provide care in our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills. Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac arrhythmia interpretation is essential. Candidates must have excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for monitoring patients’ cardiac rhythms. Administer medications and treatments according to protocols. Collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety is required. The position involves education of patients and families regarding care plans. A commitment to continuous education and improvement is expected. You will need to complete all required certifications and trainings prior to starting. Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple patients effectively. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations is crucial. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Emphasis is placed on compassionate, patient-centered care.
