Our client provides eye care services, with a focus on the diagnosis, management, and treatment of eye diseases. They perform thorough eye examinations, prescribe corrective lenses, and detect eye-related medical conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Medical Optometrist Our client is seeking a Medical Optometrist to join a growing, patient-centered eye care team. The provider will deliver comprehensive eye care services, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, prescribe corrective lenses and medications, and collaborate with ophthalmologists to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments. Diagnose and manage a variety of ocular conditions and diseases. Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic treatments. Provide patient education regarding eye health and treatment plans. Coordinate care with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers. Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited program. Active and unrestricted state optometry license. Experience in medical optometry or a residency is highly preferred. Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills.
