The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $24 - $25 per hour, depending on experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job Summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring for a Material Handler opportunity with a leading technology manufacturing organization. This role supports logistics and material movement operations, ensuring the timely delivery, cleaning, packaging, and shipment of materials while maintaining quality, safety, and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping and receiving, or material handling environments and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and package materials according to specifications to ensure safe outbound shipment.
• Perform material pickups and deliveries throughout the facility campus.
• Monitor materials for damage or defects and report concerns to leadership.
• Complete data entry, inventory transactions, and record retention activities.
• Maintain accurate material transfers within SAP or similar inventory systems.
• Operate material handling equipment including hand trucks, hoists, trolleys, pallet movers, and forklifts.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, unloading, packaging, and logistics support activities.
• Maintain work areas according to 5S+1 principles and company safety standards.
• Participate in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Support.
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping and receiving, packaging, trucking, or material handling environments required.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stretch, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work around forklifts, pallet movers, overhead cranes, ladders, and manufacturing equipment.
• May be required to work around chemicals and laser equipment.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
