Project Controller(Bilingual)

This position primarily supports commercial, contractual, and project coordination activities within the Project Control Team throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, local authorities, and regulatory agencies to support successful project execution. Support contract management, payment reviews, procurement activities, project reporting, schedule follow-up, and commercial coordination while proactively identifying project risks and assisting in issue resolution. Provide bilingual (Korean/English) communication support through interpretation and translation during meetings, negotiations, and official correspondence while ensuring accurate business and technical context.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the management of subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and contractual obligations. Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial and contractual documents while supporting the successful execution of project agreements. Review and evaluate contractor payment applications by verifying quantities, milestones, supporting documents, and contractual compliance prior to payment processing. Support commercial and contractual communications with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory agencies while maintaining effective working relationships. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Quality, Safety, and other internal departments to support project execution and resolve project-related issues. Assist in procurement activities including bid evaluations, commercial reviews, contract preparation, and vendor coordination. Track project costs, schedules, deliverables, and commercial activities while identifying potential risks and supporting corrective actions. Prepare and maintain project reports including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, commercial summaries, progress updates, and other management reports. Prepare, review, and manage official project correspondence, contractual documents, meeting minutes (MOM), presentations, and other project documentations. Maintain project records including contracts, drawings, vendor documents, official letters, and other project files using the company's document management systems. Provide Korean-English interpretation and translation support during project meetings, commercial discussions, technical meetings, negotiations, and official communications as required. Conduct project research and gather information related to contractors, suppliers, regulatory requirements, permitting activities, and other project-related matters. Support coordination with local authorities and regulatory agencies regarding project approvals, permits, inspections, and compliance matters as required. Perform other Project Control duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Must be eligible to work in the US legally without visa sponsorship Korean/English bilingual is a must (Native proficiency including writing and reading) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field 0-3 years of relevant experience in engineering, construction, EPC projects, project controls, commercial support, contract management, procurement, or related project environments is preferred. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills Demonstration of strong compliance to procedures and guidelines Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, demanding environment with a mixed culture Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-ups Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and EPC terminology in both Korean and English. Strong sense of ownership with a proactive attitude with a risk‑managing mindset Experience with document management systems, project management software, or ERP systems is preferred. Analytical thinking and demonstrated ability to solve problems Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic EPC project environment. Experience in related fields (project controls, contract management, commercial management, procurement support, or construction management) Experience in high‑tech (Semiconductor) product projects Experience in industrial and factory projects Experience in domestic EPC projects Experience utilizing AI tools to improve productivity, document preparation, research, or project support Experience with data analysis, data visualization, or data‑driven decision support International and multi‑cultural experience a plus
