Security Guard

In this important role, you'll help maintain a safe and secure environment for team members, visitors, and company assets. You'll monitor facility activity, control site access, conduct routine inspections, and support daily operational needs. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor plant activity to help ensure a safe and secure workplace.
• Conduct daily rounds, including checking trailer temperatures, room temperatures, and facility gates.
• Monitor and document all associate and vehicle traffic entering and exiting the facility.
• Answer and direct switchboard calls during off-hours.
• Process outbound loads as required.
• Follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Operate company-owned vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Perform parking lot checks daily.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness, safety, and operability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility security and operations.

What You’ll Need

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Experience: Previous security experience preferred but not required.
• Technical Skills: Strong computer skills preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk more than one mile on varying terrain, in all weather conditions, and navigate stairs throughout the shift.
• Professional Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, communicate effectively under pressure, maintain a professional attitude, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Availability: Ability to work any shift as needed.

• Base hourly salary: $17.91 per hour;
