Burton, MI 1st & 2nd shift opportunities – 6:00am to 2:30pm / 3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday to Friday Join our great team!

Job Summary: Packagers are responsible for preparing products for shipment or sale by inspecting, labeling, and packaging them according to company and customer standards. This role ensures all items are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to maintain quality and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect products for defects or damages before & during packaging.
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Package finished products into boxes, containers, or pallets.
• Assemble, line and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
• Label packages with correct identification and shipping information.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Consistent attendance required.

Work Environment:

• This position and work environment will require walking, standing, and lift
• May involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as per safety standards within organization.
