Data Engineer

The Data Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks. This role leads data migration activities, including legacy SAS code conversion, and ensures reliable data pipeline operations throughout implementation and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as ADF and Snowpipe.
• Build and manage reusable data ingestion frameworks.
• Perform performance tuning, Change Data Capture (CDC), and workflow orchestration.
• Lead data migration during implementation, including converting legacy SAS code to the new data model and platform.
• Maintain and support data pipelines during ongoing operations and maintenance.
• Lead and mentor the data engineering team.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, including 3+ years working with modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark.
• Experience with data integration, CI/CD pipelines, and data modeling.
• Experience with SAS preferred.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams.
