Procurement SpecialistThe Procurement Specialist will:Provide defined plans, processes, methods, and tools for the procurement of hardware and software, ensuring supply chain management and chain of custody for the life of all customer assets to help protect from the inadvertent purchase of counterfeit or illegally modified products.Work within the customer's Supplier/Procurement program, helping a team responsible for all activities associated with researching and recommending cost effective purchase arrangements for customer approval.Employ cost control practices in coordination with the customer.Support the customer's purchase process and coordinate delivery.Manage, track, and audit hardware recapitalizing, maintenance agreements, and software licensing.Review purchase requisitions for clarity, compliance, detail, completeness, and obtain additional information considered necessary.Actively manage the procurement process from order placement through receipt of products and subsequent payment of invoices.Actively manage supplier performance through consistent communication to ensure proper adherence to purchase order terms and conditions.Participate in the invoice approval process to ensure that supplier invoices are in accordance with purchase order terms and conditions, and resolve issues as necessary.Maintain all procurement records and provide material inspection and receiving reports to the customer when requested.Required Qualifications:Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearanceYears of experience with degree: BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2Preferred Qualifications:Master's in business administration (MBA) with a focus on Supply Chain Management, or Master's in Procurement and Contract ManagementCertified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) CertificationsOverviewWe are seeking a Procurement Specialist, Mid to support the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC).
