Data Science Program Lead I - Oncology

AbbVie seeks a Data Science Program Lead I for its Oncology division to oversee clinical trial data strategies and lead cross-functional teams. The role involves coordinating data science study teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence in clinical development programs.
Responsibilities
- Align data science study teams with program and study-level strategies as operational lead
- Serve as single point of contact for assigned studies, coordinating global DSS teams to meet objectives
- Utilize analytics and project management tools to optimize program execution and track progress
- Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH Guidelines, federal regulations, and AbbVie SOPs
- Coach and mentor Data Science Associates and provide vendor oversight feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent; Master's preferred
- 3+ years pharma/clinical research/data management experience or 5+ years project management experience
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and end-to-end trial management
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Effective analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired
