Phlebotomist Floater

Job Location and Schedule Montgomery, AL. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic analyses. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency if no work experience. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or qualifying medical or religious accommodation. Preferred Qualifications 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color-blindness test. Valid driver's license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. Minimum age 21 years.
