Client Overview Vernovis is partnering with a leading energy infrastructure organization focused on developing and operating utility-scale power generation assets. This organization is investing heavily in large-scale natural gas-fired generation projects and is seeking an experienced project leader to support the successful execution of complex power plant construction initiatives. If interested please contact Brooke Larney at View email address on click.appcast.io What You'll Do Lead all phases of combined-cycle and simple-cycle power generation project execution from development through Commercial Operation Date (COD) Manage EPC contractors, OEMs, engineering partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success Establish and maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and execution plans for projects ranging from $300MM to $1B+ Oversee construction activities including civil work, foundations, turbine installation, HRSG erection, and electrical/I&C installation Monitor contractor productivity, safety performance, quality standards, and project milestones while driving schedule adherence Manage contract administration, change orders, claims resolution, and commercial negotiations with EPC and OEM partners Support commissioning, startup, performance testing, and successful operational handoff to plant operations teams Provide project reporting, executive presentations, and stakeholder communications while ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements What Experience You'll Have Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline 10+ years of experience managing power generation, utility, or heavy industrial construction projects with demonstrated EPC leadership experience Experience delivering large-scale combined-cycle or gas turbine generation projects on schedule and within budget Strong knowledge of CTG/CCGT plant design, HRSG systems, high-voltage electrical systems, and grid interconnection requirements Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractor performance, and complex stakeholder relationships What Experience is Nice to Have Master's degree or MBA PMP Certification and/or OSHA 30 Certification Experience working with major OEMs including GE, Siemens, or Mitsubishi Energy The Vernovis Difference Vernovis offers Health, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Short & Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Life Insurance, and 401K.
