Hardware Digital Engineer

Product R&D has an immediate opening for an entry-level Digital Hardware Engineer within our talented hardware design team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work throughout the product lifecycle to develop products and systems that expand the test and measurement industry's capabilities. Digital engineers at NI stand at the intersection of the many disciplines required to make new products come to life, making this role critical to the team's success. Through your work, you will have opportunities to continue to expand your digital design skills by learning from experienced technical leaders and participating in initiatives to grow the craft of digital design.IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary hardware engineering teams to develop test and measurement products.Write and debug Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL for functional blocks, including high-performance and mixed-signal designs.Contribute to Design Verification by developing assertions, checkers, and test plans; perform equivalence checking and linting.Develop register maps and generate documentation to ensure clear design intent to the broader project team.Support silicon bring-up, diagnostics, and post-silicon debug. Develop and execute plans for prototype hardware bring-up and board level validation.WHO YOU ARE: You partner with others to get work done. You can take a creative idea and put it into practice.
