AWS Cloud Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will architect and deliver largescale AWS data migration and storage solutions to support secure, highperformance enterprise workloads.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


AWS Cloud Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement scalable AWS data storage and migration architectures for largevolume enterprise datasets.
• Lead onpremises to AWS data migration efforts using DataSync, S3 replication, and secure transfer strategies.
• Configure and manage core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, FSx, ECR) following best practices.
• Build and automate infrastructure using InfrastructureasCode and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Optimize data transfer performance, storage costs, and availability while ensuring security and compliance.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to troubleshoot and deliver endtoend cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience, including 4+ years of handson AWS experience.
• Proven expertise in largescale AWS data migration and storage solutions using DataSync, S3 replication, and related services.
• Strong ability to architect secure, highly available cloud solutions using IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS security best practices.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
