Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - PICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations.
• Operate high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators.
• Collaborate with NICU and PICU teams to manage complex respiratory needs.
• Conduct aerosol therapy and manage airway stabilization methods.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and emergency situations.
• Maintain compliance with documentation and charting requirements using Epic.

Qualifications

• NC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in hand, with the potential consideration for CRT candidates meeting all other requirements.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and emergency departments.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
• Experience with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators is essential.
• Proficiency in interpreting arterial blood gases and respiratory therapy protocols.
• Experience with trauma level I and II facilities preferred.
