Shipper and ReceiverLocation: Houston, TX (RDA) - Welding equipment rentalUnder the direction of the Branch Manager, the incumbent assists with the daily operations of the branch and ensures rental equipment is available for orders.Essential FunctionsMaintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc's health and safety guidelines.Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, and other shipping documents manually or by computerAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructionsOversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyancesInspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goodsUnpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areasMaintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systemsMay operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.Requires a CDL license for the Delivery and pick up of equipment within local areaGeneral Warehouse duties to include putting up stock, pulling and pack ordersPerforms other Warehouse related duties as required.Are you a Match?Required:High School diploma or GEDForklift ExperiencePreferred Qualification:Experience with UPS Software, Bill of Ladings, LTL Carriers, Expediting Shipments.Strong Computer knowledgeBenefitsWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
