Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician CVOR Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 week contract Shift: Rotating schedule Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 4+ years CV experience, Endovascular and cardiovascular experience License: Certification as a Surgical Technologist Certifications: BLS certification through AHA Must-Have: Current Surgical Technologist certification BLS certification through AHA Description: The CVOR Tech performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients. This position requires significant experience in the cardiovascular field, including endovascular procedures. The technician must be adept in surgical technology and have a strong commitment to patient care. A solid understanding of surgical procedures and the ability to work collaboratively within a team is essential. Call responsibilities include availability every fourth weekend and once per week during a six-week rotation. Candidates should have completed a formal surgical technologist program and maintain current certifications. The role demands attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
