Title: I&C Technician

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay: $45 - $46/HR with growth to $50's, 6-10% bonus, 401k, health, full benefits.

Schedule: 12 Hour Rotating DuPont Schedule 4:30 In/Out Time

This position is stationed on a newer and sustainable plant right in the bay area with an owner operator. This position will be hired based on I&C skill set and will have the opportunity to learn other trades at the facility. All types of industrial automation background will be considered, ideally candidates who can work with PLC and DCS systems calibrating various types of transmitters.

Job Description:
• Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and control systems supporting safe and reliable power plant operations
• Support day to day plant operations by monitoring process controls, responding to alarms, and assisting with operational adjustments during a 12 hour shift rotation
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on DCS and PLC systems, including, transmitters, analyzers, valves, and related control equipment
• Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to diagnose equipment issues and restore plant availability efficiently
• Participate in plant startups shutdowns load changes and operational testing to ensure systems perform within design parameters
• Document maintenance activities calibrations and system changes in accordance with plant procedures and regulatory requirements
• Actively support plant safety culture by following all safety policies procedures and lockout tagout requirements
• Experience as an I&C Technician in a power plant or heavy industrial manufacturing refining chemical or similar environment
• Working knowledge of industrial control systems instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting practices
• Ability to work a rotating 12 hour shift schedule including nights weekends and holiday
