Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A home infusion pharmacy in College Station, TX, is seeking two experienced pharmacists to join their team, including a full-time Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and a PRN staff pharmacist position. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a specialized setting focused on providing IV and infusion therapies for patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Positions:
- Staff Pharmacist – Temporary coverage needed from November 16 to 27, 2026 (pharmacy closed November 26)
- Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) – Full-time
It is possible for one qualified pharmacist to combine both roles, beginning with the temporary November assignment and transitioning into the permanent PIC position.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, process, and verify medication orders from physicians
- Perform and oversee sterile compounding and cleanroom operations
- Ensure safe dispensing of infusion medications and supplies
- Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records with regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Manage pharmacist workflows and patient caseloads
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, maintaining adherence to USP sterile compounding standards
Additional PIC Duties:
- Lead pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Maintain policies, procedures, and quality standards for medication preparation and dispensing
- Support inspections and maintain required documentation
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight
- Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
- Minimum 1+ year pharmacy experience, home infusion and sterile compounding experience preferred
- Familiarity with USP sterile compounding standards
- Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
For PIC candidates:
- Must meet Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements for PIC designation
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Solid understanding of pharmacy compliance and sterile operations
