Job Description Job Description As a Dental Assistant in a small dental office, you will play a vital role in supporting dental procedures, including dental implants, by working closely with the dentist and reporting to the office manager. Your duties will cover a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth, efficient care and patient comfort. Responsibilities Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort Take and process dental radiographs accurately Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, especially dental implants Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling Manage dental office inventory and maintain equipment Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years experience in dental assisting Preferred Qualifications Certificate in Dental Assisting Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques Proficiency in dental radiography Strong patient care and communication skills Teamwork and attention to detail
