Position Summary The Junior Claims Adjuster provides administrative support for the company's claims management process involving workers' compensation, auto liability, general liability, property damage, and subcontractor claims. This position is responsible for maintaining claim documentation, coordinating communication between internal departments and insurance carriers, tracking claim activity, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities, and enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the administration of workers' compensation, auto, general liability, and property damage claims. Open new claim files and maintain accurate electronic and physical claim records. Collect accident reports, witness statements, photographs, police reports, and other supporting documentation. Coordinate claim documentation with field operations, Safety, Human Resources, Fleet, and Project Management teams. Communicate with insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), adjusters, legal counsel, and medical providers. Monitor claim status and follow up on outstanding documentation or requests. Maintain claim logs, databases, and reporting spreadsheets. Assist with OSHA incident documentation and regulatory reporting as needed. Track claim reserves, payments, and settlement documentation. Prepare routine claim summaries and management reports. Assist in identifying claim trends and loss prevention opportunities. Support insurance renewal activities by gathering loss runs and claim history. Assist with Certificates of Insurance (COIs), subcontractor insurance compliance, and claim-related insurance documentation. Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information and claim files. Ensure Compliance With Company Policies, Insurance Requirements, and applicable state and federal requirements.
