You'll receive on-the-job training and gradually develop the skills needed to complete installations independently.Responsibilities include:Assist with the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality equipmentHelp install ductwork, refrigeration lines, gas piping, and other HVAC system componentsLoad, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials for each jobAssist with equipment start-up and basic system testingLearn proper installation techniques, safety procedures, and HVAC best practicesMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sitesCommunicate professionally with homeowners and team membersFollow all company safety policies and installation standardsContinuously develop your technical knowledge through hands-on training and educationQualificationsMechanical aptitude and an interest in learning the HVAC tradeValid driver's license with an insurable driving recordStrong work ethic and dependable attendancePositive attitude with a willingness to learn from experienced techniciansAbility to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditionsAbility to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materialsStrong communication and teamwork skillsTrade school or HVAC education is a plus, but not requiredConstruction, mechanical, warehouse, maintenance, or related experience is a plus, but not requiredCompensation and Benefits$15.00-$25.00 per hour based on experience and qualificationsIncentive opportunitiesHealth insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with up to a 4% company matchTool program assistancePaid training and continuing educationCareer advancement opportunities into experienced installer and service technician rolesStable, year-round employmentIf you're looking for an opportunity to start a long-term career in the skilled trades, Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning offers the training, support, and career path to help you succeed.
