About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of IT & Security to take on a foundational leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of areas, including internal IT, security, governance, risk, and compliance. This role is pivotal as the company is ready to own its IT and security function at a level that meets the demands of its customers and ambitions. The VP will be a player-coach, setting strategy and owning the roadmap, while also being hands-on in operational and security tasks. They will lead the migration of the IT function from an MSP model to an in-house team and will be the key figure in defining and maintaining the company's security and compliance standards. Applicants for the VP of IT & Security position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in IT and security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A proven track record in managing or building an internal IT function, particularly in the context of transitioning from an MSP model, is essential. The role requires deep familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and experience in a B2B SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at moving between strategy and execution, a strong communicator, and commercially aware of the impact of security and compliance on various business aspects.
