Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist Location: 1210 Gail Gardner Way, Prescott, AZ 86305. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, rotational Saturdays may be included. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist. Bilingual English/Spanish. Experience in pediatrics. Additional Job Standards Certification must be from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work in fast paced/high volume environments. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
