Business Analyst

We are seeking a senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations and technical delivery teams. In this role, you will lead requirement gathering, process modeling, UAT coordination, training readiness, and Azure DevOps backlog management for enterprise solutions.

Key Information

Location: Lansing, MI (Local candidates within 90 miles only)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite: Wednesday & Thursday | Remote: Monday, Tuesday, Friday)
Interview Process: 60-minute MS Teams Virtual Interview (Video & screen-sharing capability required)

Core Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory Requirements

CBAP Certification (Required)
8+ Years: User Requirement Gathering
6+ Years: Technical & Business Requirement Documentation
4+ Years: Agile / SCRUM Methodology & Ceremonies
3+ Years: Azure DevOps (ADO) Backlog Management (Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, Sprint/Kanban Boards)

Key Responsibilities & Preferred Skills

Process Modeling: Developing process maps, workflow diagrams, and exception-handling procedures (e.g., Bizagi).
Product Owner Support: Refining backlogs, drafting user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring traceability.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Execution coordination, defect tracking, test scenarios, and business validation plans.
Organizational Readiness: Creating job aids, training materials, quick reference guides, and leading end-user training.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating business process analysis across large-scale enterprise or public sector systems.
