- # 413th Flight Test Squadron Task LeadApplylocations: Hurlburt Airfield, FLtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR100484Key Responsibilities• Supervisory Duties: Directly supervise employees at Hurlburt Field and Duke Field, approve time-cards, leave requests, and conduct yearly performance reviews.• Customer Coordination: Maintain regular communication with the 413th Flight Test Squadron customer and attend bi-weekly tag-up meetings to ensure alignment of goals and activities.• Personnel Oversight: Manage Canvas and subcontractor staff, support recruiting efforts, and provide feedback for morale events.• Documentation Advisory: Advise on and oversee the preparation of technical documentation, including Test Directives (TDs), Statements of Capability (SOC), Methods of Test (MOT), test plans, test reports, and Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs).• Document Management: Ensure proper maintenance and provision of document copies to stakeholders, and support data calls as required.• Briefings and Reporting: Prepare and present briefings, assist with weekly and monthly reports, and summarize team accomplishments for management and customer review.• Compliance: Ensure all activities and documentation comply with 96 TW and AFTC directives.• Team Communication: Enhance team communications, develop cross-team relationships, and foster a positive company culture.• Employee Support: Process tuition requests and support employee development.Required Skills and Qualifications• Strong leadership and supervisory skills• Experience with technical writing and documentation processes• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams• Familiarity with compliance standards for test and engineering servicesWork Location and Conditions• Primary locations: Hurlburt Field or Duke Field• Opportunities for remote work may be available• Occasional travel between sites and to customer meetings requiredApplication Process• Submit your application and resume via the company’s online portal• Qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview• Interview process includes technical assessment and discussion of supervisory experienceThe Scientist and Engineer labor category is comprised of Analysts, Engineers, and Scientists with knowledge and skills to apply a variety of analytical techniques to formulate and solve problems; plan for future technologies; conduct research and development; and define requirements for systems. Specific knowledge and expertise may be required in specialized engineering fields as detailed in Section 3.8.1 and 3.8.16 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).The position is a Scientist and Engineer 4 which requires a Master’s degree in applicable discipline and at least 10 years of experience.
