Job Summary
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting patient-centered care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and personnel management
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentoring, and support staff development
Develop and manage budgets for the nursing department
Foster a culture of safety and quality improvement, promoting a positive and respectful work environment
Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, and families to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role
Current State of Tennessee RN license
Demonstrated expertise in nursing administration, management, and leadership
