Must have both licenses!Essential Functions of Certified Medication Technician (CMT):Performs resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfortAdministers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurseMust demonstrate knowledge of the "five rights" of medication administrationAdministers and records all medication given to residents based on their specific chartNotifies appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of painMay take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be required by certain medicationsRecords the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriatelyAnswers resident call lights, anticipates resident's needs and makes rounds to assigned residentObserve for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shiftPerforms all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errorsSupport and maintain a culture of safety and qualityAdministers PRN medicationsReports and when appropriate, records any changes observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidentsPerforms other duties as assignedJoin us as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Ozark Care and Rehab today!EEO Statement:Our facility provides equal employment opportunities.
