This role is responsible for creating and optimizing CNC laser programs to support efficient production, high-quality output, and material utilization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and enjoys working closely with both engineering and production teams./ppWhat Youll Do/pulliCreate, edit, and optimize laser cutting programs using TruTops/liliDevelop efficient nests to maximize material usage and minimize scrap/liliInterpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and job specifications/liliSelect appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and thickness/liliSupport TRUMPF laser machines (e.g., TruLaser series) on the shop floor/liliTroubleshoot programming and cutting issues to maintain production flow/liliCollaborate with machine operators and engineers for process improvements/liliOptimize cut paths, lead-ins, and pierce points to improve cycle times/liliMaintain program documentation and revision control/liliEnsure all parts meet quality and dimensional requirements/li/ulpWhat Were Looking For/pulli25+ years of laser programming experience (TRUMPF preferred)/liliStrong experience with TruTops software/liliAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and GDT/liliKnowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes/liliStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail/liliAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment/li/ulpNice to Have/pulliExperience in automotive or high-volume production environments/liliFamiliarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)/liliExperience with automated systems (material towers, load/unload systems)/liliUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principles/li/ulpPay: Up to $36 a hour DOEShift: 1st shift/p/div
