Job Title: Oracle Retail Canonical Data Model Architect

Location: Remote

Role Description

• Lead the end-to-end design of canonical, system-agnostic data models for core Oracle Retail entities.
• Collaborate with Catalyst architects and business stakeholders to define entity attributes, hierarchies, and business rules, translating requirements into normalized, versioned schemas.
• Establish crosswalk and ID-mapping strategies between source RMS systems and canonical keys, including schema versioning and change-management standards.
• Define and manage the schema contract lifecycle, publishing canonical schemas to a schema registry while ensuring backward compatibility across consuming applications.
• Drive schema reviews and formal sign-offs with Catalyst leadership, maintaining data dictionaries and governance documentation.
• Partner with integration engineering teams to implement canonical models across RMS-to-Kafka ingestion and transformation pipelines, ensuring schema-registry enforcement and versioning at publish time.
