Job DescriptionWho You AreOur PaintShop Division provides state-of-the-art robotic paining solutions to automotive manufacturers worldwide. We are currently looking for a dynamic, Project Manager to join the team who will be responsible for managing Paintshop project execution (planning, engineering, resources, contract, communication, and financial control) from receipt of PO through buy off and close out, while ensuring project KPIs are met, including customer satisfaction. You will be directly responsible for customer interactions and expectations, while leading cross-functional project teams in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Planning. Interested? Apply today!How It's DoneManage, direct and lead project team members including but not limited to design engineering, process engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, installation engineering and sub-contractorsResponsible for profit, cash flow, on time delivery and quality of supplied equipmentDevelop schedule, resource plan and procurement planForecast project financial performanceManage project changes and protect FANUC from financial riskAbility to deliver customer satisfaction is a key role in this positionEnsure clear communication within the FANUC team, suppliers and customersTake action in order to ensure the project plan is followedCost management and cash flow accuracy for improved project profitabilityExecution excellence through planning /control of resources (internal and external) for improved Customer satisfaction/ qualityRecognizes issues and resolves in a timely manner as they occur in the course of executionManages Customer expectations and modes of operation to complete contract scopeProvide input on quoting/pre sale activitySpecial assignments associated with PSH related business activityExtensive travel up to 75%Exposure to paint (including 2K isocyanates), sealer materials, as well as paint/sealer application areas What You NeedBachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience5+ Experience with Automotive Automation Systems and Subcontractor and installation experience (Paint, BodyShop, etc.) Experience with ERP systemAbility to effectively lead and manage project personnel, sub-contractors and support groupsCost estimating/management skillsNegotiation skillsStrong knowledge of project management methodologiesProficiency in project management tools (MS Project)What Would Be Even BetterMaster’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent relevant field10+ years paint application and Project/Program Management experienceOracle ERP experienceBackground in construction, automotive automation systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working in an international environment or with remote teamsIt’s Your MoveAt FANUC America, we are driven by a deep respect for our people and a commitment to building a workplace dedicated to integrity and excellence.
