Job Details Senior Visual Designer – 3‑month project (remote). Location requirements: CA, CO, FL, ID, MI, NJ, NY, OR, TX, WA. Design bold, high‑impact visuals for a large online retailer’s press events, motion, and multi‑channel experiences. Responsibilities Design high‑impact visuals for press events, supporting keynote presentations, event signage, web layouts, promo materials, and event collateral (print & digital). Develop detailed storyboards and animatics for motion graphics and live‑stage sequences; collaborate with motion and broadcast teams to execute. Translate and apply the client’s brand systems consistently across all event touchpoints. Create simple, elegant design solutions to communicate technically complex narrative themes at scale. Prepare print‑ready files and oversee production specs for signage, printed programs, and press kits. Maintain visual continuity across multiple channels, ensuring assets meet technical requirements for live and recorded presentations. Iterate quickly under tight deadlines; contribute creative direction and present concepts to stakeholders. Provide design QA during rehearsals and on‑site to ensure fidelity of visuals in final delivery. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in visual design, with demonstrable work across print, digital, and scenic design for events or broadcast. Strong portfolio showing print and digital graphic design and motion storyboards. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects), Keynote. Solid understanding of motion design principles and experience creating clear storyboards/animatics. Experience applying and interpreting brand systems at scale. Practical knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, color management, and vendor coordination. Excellent visual judgment—exceptional taste, strong typography, composition, color, and hierarchy skills. Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and deliver under tight timelines. Strong communication and presentation skills. Basic understanding of creative AI tools functionality and experience creating high‑quality outputs. Bonus Experience designing for product launches or live events. Basic understanding of large‑format graphics production, video editing, and broadcast standards. Experience working with production vendors and stage scenic fabricators. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $75.00 – $90.00 (Hourly). The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
