Scheduling Options

Flexible scheduling available:

  • Weekend-only contract, working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Night contract from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, covering two out of three weekends
  • Variable shifts contract from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with two out of three weekends
Department Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team, specifically for Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care (Level 1 and Level 2).

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

  • A minimum of one year of nursing experience.
  • At least six months of travel nursing experience.
  • Reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will employ the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized care to patients. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to strategize, execute, and assess patient care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full spectrum of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, triage, care planning, and various nursing interventions. The RN will practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and relevant administrative regulations, upholding the Scope and Standards of Practice as well as the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited nursing program, such as those recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.

Current, unencumbered RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the practice location is required, or possession of multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Candidates must obtain and maintain necessary department-specific competencies and certifications.
