• 24‐hour shifts ‐‐ 7 am to 7 am
• 1 ‐ 10 patients seen per 24‐hour call period
• Both inpatient and outpatient settings required
• Admissions required ‐‐ rounding in both settings
• General surgery skills including adult, pediatric, and neonate
• Laparoscopic procedures ‐‐ appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty
• OB/GYN surgery, breast, head/neck, and liver surgery preferred
• GI endoscopy ‐‐ upper, lower, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy
