Job Description
Ella Cafe in Boynton Beach is seeking an experienced Barista to join our team. This role requires a skilled individual who can efficiently prepare espresso drinks, manage the register, and maintain a clean and well-stocked bar. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional guest service during afternoon peak hours and varied shifts, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks quickly and consistently to standard
- Operate the cash register and assist customers efficiently
- Keep the bar stocked with necessary supplies including milk, syrups, cups, and lids
- Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house and perform assigned side work
- Ensure the bar is never left unattended, especially during busy periods
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of barista experience, including espresso machine operation and milk steaming
- Reliable and punctual with strong guest service skills
- Availability to work weekdays and preferred weekend shifts
- Ability to work independently and follow station assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- Food safety training certification
- Expertise in espresso machine operation and beverage preparation
- Proficient in cash register handling
- Strong time management, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
