Field Sales Representative

Job Purpose Hawaiian Telcom is looking for driven, outgoing individuals to join our Field Sales team. This commission‑based position offers a $40,000 base salary plus uncapped commission potential, with a chance to earn over $90,000 per year, and a $2,500 training bonus upon completion of the 30‑day training program. Essential Functions Assess customers’ needs and recommend optimal communication solutions and applications from our product and service line. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all services and products, including bundles, new offerings, promotional offers, and service geography. Understand and utilize the systems that qualify customers for our products and services. Achieve sales, service, and productivity metrics. Document customer sales and follow‑up consistently. Apply training effectively and demonstrate superior application of all material. Conduct door‑to‑door sales within assigned neighborhoods or territories. Present and promote fiber internet, TV, and voice products to residential customers. Education Four years of high school or equivalent education. Experience 1 to 2 years of door‑to‑door or outside field sales experience is preferred. Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Superior listening skills. Intelligent and able to absorb and demonstrate a thorough understanding of a broad range of products, services, procedures, and systems. Superior consultative selling skills, needs‑assessment, problem‑solving, and integrative thinking. Miscellaneous Door‑to‑door sales to qualified leads. Evening and weekend work required. Valid driver’s license required. Outstanding organizational and time‑management skills. Relevant education and training courses desired. This is an exempt position.
